PEP066 is a defined physical mixture of two separate peptide substances: BPC-157 and full-length thymosin beta-4. The two components remain chemically distinct within the preparation and do not form a new single peptide molecule merely because they are blended in the same vial.
Unless the selected product variant states otherwise, BPC-157 and full-length thymosin beta-4 are included in equal quantities by declared peptide mass. For example, a vial described as containing 20 mg total peptide contains a nominal 10 mg of BPC-157 and 10 mg of full-length thymosin beta-4. The total physical powder mass may be greater where a declared carrier, bulking agent or other formulation excipient is present.
A 1:1 mass ratio is not the same as a 1:1 molar ratio because the two components have substantially different molecular weights. Product documentation should therefore describe the blend as equal by peptide mass rather than equimolar.
Where laboratory dissolution is required, the solvent, buffer, concentration, mixing procedure, material-compatibility controls and storage conditions stated in the applicable Certificate of Analysis, Safety Data Sheet or validated laboratory method should be followed. A universal solvent instruction should not be applied to every peptide blend, counter-ion form or formulated preparation.
Research Scientific Ltd does not provide advice or recommendations concerning dosage, administration or use in humans or animals.
For this PEP066 product, the designation TB500 refers specifically to full-length thymosin beta-4 or timbetasin, comprising 43 amino-acid residues with covalent N-terminal acetylation.
The full-length component is identified by CAS number 77591-33-4, molecular formula C212H350N56O78S and an average molecular weight of approximately 4963.5 g/mol.
The applicable supplier documentation and mass-spectrometry result should confirm the full-length molecular identity. This product description must not be used where the supplied TB500 component is a shorter thymosin-derived fragment or another molecular structure.
Declared Blend Composition
The following composition applies where the product variant is formulated at the standard 1:1 ratio by declared peptide mass. Each Laboratory Pack vial follows the composition of its stated individual vial strength.
| Nominal Variant | Total Declared Peptide | BPC-157 | Full-Length Thymosin Beta-4 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 mg | 5 mg | 2.5 mg | 2.5 mg |
| 10 mg | 10 mg | 5 mg | 5 mg |
| 20 mg | 20 mg | 10 mg | 10 mg |
| 50 mg | 50 mg | 25 mg | 25 mg |
Composition note: The values above describe nominal peptide content rather than total powder fill mass. Any carrier, bulking agent, counter-ion, residual water or other declared formulation component should be identified separately in the applicable batch documentation.
ULTIMATE BPC-157 & TB500 BLEND
Additional Preparative HPLC Purification, Controlled 1:1 Mass Blending and More Stringent LPS Testing
A premium laboratory specification incorporating additional preparative high-performance liquid chromatography purification for each peptide component, controlled quantitative blending and a more stringent bacterial endotoxin or lipopolysaccharide testing specification.
The ULTIMATE BPC-157 & TB500 Blend is our premium research specification for laboratories requiring an enhanced level of component purification, blend-composition control and batch quality assurance. Before controlled blending, both BPC-157 and full-length thymosin beta-4 undergo an additional preparative high-performance liquid chromatography purification stage following their standard synthesis and purification processes.
This additional component-level purification is designed to reduce further the level of chromatographically separable deletion sequences, truncated peptides, incompletely deprotected material, oxidation products and other synthesis-related or process-related impurities. The purified components are subsequently combined in the defined 1:1 ratio by declared peptide mass.
The completed ULTIMATE blend is also assessed against a more stringent bacterial endotoxin or lipopolysaccharide release specification than the Regular range. The analytical method, reporting units, method-suitability controls, acceptance criterion and final batch result should be recorded in the corresponding Certificate of Analysis where supplied.
ULTIMATE BPC-157 & TB500 Blend remains strictly for scientific laboratory research and analytical use only. It is not intended for human or animal use, clinical use, diagnostic use, pharmacy compounding, self-administration or therapeutic application. Component identity, complete sequences, terminal structures, chromatographic purity, individual peptide content, blend ratio, counter-ion content, residual solvents, water content, bacterial endotoxin results and other analytical specifications are batch-specific and should be confirmed using the applicable completed Certificate of Analysis. Bacterial endotoxin or lipopolysaccharide testing does not constitute sterility testing.

BPC-157 & TB500 Blend Product Overview
Our BPC-157 and full-length Thymosin Beta-4 research-grade dual-peptide blend is supplied for controlled analytical method development, peptide identity assessment, high-performance liquid chromatography evaluation, liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry workflows, blend-composition analysis, impurity profiling, stability investigation, reference-material comparison and other scientific laboratory applications.
The formulation contains two chemically distinct peptide components combined at a defined 1:1 ratio by declared peptide mass. BPC-157 is a linear 15-residue peptide with a molecular weight of approximately 1419.54 g/mol. The TB500 component is full-length, N-terminally acetylated thymosin beta-4 or timbetasin, comprising 43 amino-acid residues and having a molecular weight of approximately 4963.5 g/mol.
Because PEP066 is a physical mixture, it has no single molecular formula, component molecular weight or CAS Registry Number. The chemical identifiers, complete sequence and analytical result for each component should be recorded independently, while the final preparation should additionally be assessed for declared component quantities and blend ratio.
Chromatographic purity should not automatically be interpreted as equivalent to total net peptide content or quantitative blend composition. Different peptide components may produce different detector responses, so a chromatographic peak-area ratio should only be treated as a mass ratio where the analytical method and response factors are suitable for that purpose.
A bacterial endotoxin or lipopolysaccharide result does not establish sterility, complete molecular identity, correct blend composition or the absence of every peptide-related and process-related impurity. Any sterility claim must be supported separately by an appropriate validated sterility test and controlled production documentation.
For the majority of routine analytical method development, chromatographic assessment, mass-spectrometry comparison, blend-characterisation, impurity profiling and general laboratory work, the Regular BPC-157 & TB500 Blend remains highly suitable. The premium black-and-gold ULTIMATE option provides additional preparative high-performance liquid chromatography purification for each peptide component and a more stringent bacterial endotoxin or lipopolysaccharide testing specification for projects requiring enhanced quality-control parameters.
