Thank you for choosing Nupex.co.uk for your research, laboratory and scientific supply requirements. We aim to provide a fast, secure and reliable delivery service for all eligible orders within the United Kingdom and internationally.
All orders are carefully processed, securely packaged and dispatched using trusted postal and courier services. Delivery options, estimated timeframes and shipping charges are shown at checkout before payment is completed.
🇬🇧 UK Shipping
Carrier Used
For UK deliveries, we primarily use Royal Mail tracked services. These services provide parcel tracking, delivery updates and confirmation once your order has been delivered.
Dispatch Times
- Orders placed before 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday, are normally dispatched the same working day.
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM will normally be dispatched the next working day.
- Orders placed during weekends or UK bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.
- Dispatch times may vary during busy periods, promotional periods or where additional order checks are required.
UK Delivery Options
At checkout, you may be offered a choice of Royal Mail tracked delivery services, depending on your order and delivery address.
Royal Mail Tracked 24
Royal Mail Tracked 24 is a fully tracked delivery service with a target delivery time of the next working day after dispatch. It includes tracking updates, delivery confirmation and, where available, photographic proof of delivery.
This option is best suited for customers who require a faster delivery service.
Royal Mail Tracked 48
Royal Mail Tracked 48 is a fully tracked delivery service with a target delivery time of 2–3 working days after dispatch. It includes tracking updates, delivery confirmation and, where available, photographic proof of delivery.
This option is a cost-effective choice for non-urgent orders.
Important Delivery Notice
Please note: Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Royal Mail Tracked 48 are estimated delivery services. They are not guaranteed next-day delivery services. Whilst most parcels arrive within the stated target timeframe, delays can occasionally occur due to courier workload, local delivery issues, adverse weather, bank holidays or other circumstances outside our control.
If you require a time-critical delivery, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm the most suitable delivery option available.
Tracking & Delivery Notifications
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation containing your tracking information. Royal Mail may also provide email or SMS delivery updates where valid contact details have been supplied during checkout.
UK Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the order weight, parcel size, order value and selected delivery service. Free or discounted shipping may be available during promotional periods or on qualifying orders.
🌍 International Shipping
International Carriers
For international deliveries, we use a combination of Royal Mail International and trusted courier partners. The carrier used will depend on the destination country, parcel weight, order value and the delivery service selected at checkout.
International Dispatch Times
- Orders placed before 2:00 PM UK time, Monday to Friday, are normally dispatched the same working day.
- Orders placed after this time, during weekends or on UK bank holidays will normally be dispatched the next working day.
- Some international orders may require additional processing or verification before dispatch.
Estimated International Delivery Times
International delivery times vary depending on the destination country, postal service, courier network and customs process. As a general guide, most international orders arrive within 3–14 working days after dispatch.
- Europe: typically 3–10 working days.
- Rest of World: typically 5–14 working days.
- Remote locations may take longer.
International Tracking
Most international shipments include tracking. Where available, we strongly recommend choosing a tracked delivery service at checkout for improved visibility and delivery updates throughout transit.
Customs, Duties & Import Charges
International orders may be subject to customs checks, import duties, taxes, handling fees or clearance charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless clearly stated otherwise.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the goods ordered can be lawfully imported into their country and for paying any applicable customs duties, taxes or local charges.

📦 General Shipping Guidelines
Secure Packaging
All orders are carefully packed to help protect product integrity during transit. We use suitable packaging materials based on the type, size and weight of the items ordered.
Address Accuracy
Please ensure that your delivery address, postcode, email address and telephone number are entered correctly at checkout. Nupex cannot accept responsibility for delays, failed deliveries or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.
Failed Delivery Attempts
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the courier or postal service may leave a delivery card, provide further instructions by email or SMS, or return the parcel to a local delivery office for collection. It is the customer’s responsibility to follow the courier’s instructions and arrange redelivery or collection where required.
Delivery Delays
Although we work hard to dispatch all orders promptly, delivery delays may occasionally occur. These may be caused by courier disruption, adverse weather, customs clearance, public holidays, incorrect address details, industrial action or other circumstances outside our control.
Lost, Missing or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, appears to be missing items or has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate the matter with the delivery provider.
- Damaged parcels should be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Please retain all packaging materials and take clear photographs of any damage.
- Missing or delayed parcels should be reported promptly so that we can raise an enquiry with the carrier.
- Carrier investigations can take several working days to complete.
